Fondation Place du Royaume

Founded in 1987 by Mr. Gaston L-Tremblay, the Fondation Place du Royaume is dedicated to supporting students from local and Côte-Nord CEGEPs as they pursue their university studies at the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi. Since 1988, the foundation has been awarding scholarships that recognize academic excellence.

Each year, several scholarships are granted to deserving students, helping to make higher education more accessible right here in the region. This support highlights the value of perseverance, commitment, and local talent.

To date, more than $1,048,000 in scholarships have been awarded to students from our community. By supporting the leaders of tomorrow, the Fondation Place du Royaume plays an active role in the social and economic development of our region.
